RE-640 floating colour tone issue

Hi,

I've got following problem with printing on my re-640. When i'm printing some one colour job the tone colour is changing after every 1-2 meters. Does anybody have similiar problem ? I know 2 another people who have the same problem. I wonder if it is common issue or only occures on certain machines.

Hi,

Yes we're experiencing this problem. Did you ever overcome it?

We can print 3 panels 1 after the other with a continuous strip of colour running across them and when laid out side by side the colour is completely different.

Same profile, same settings etc. Very frustrating.
