Recent Porsche Cayman wrap

Hello all,

Really excited with the overall look of this car, not saying that our prior wraps were bad by any means but this Cayman has been my favorite this far out of the 5 we've done this year.

Just decided to share. I also learned a few new tricks for this vehicle. In the past we've Knifeless taped the race stripes, Which I'm fairly good at, however I do feel with my new knowledge of 3d to 2d converting for templates we will rarely pick up knifeless tape again.

I took a tip/trick from a user on here (Bob) to apply masking tape to a panel after laying the stripes that I wanted with painters tape, and then we'd lay it flat onto the work table and import a photo of it into illustrator.

I highly suggest doing as so to anyone who does currently have a plotter and feels the need to knifeless tape striping for whatever application they may be doing.

Any how, to the pictures.

RJ it helps that my business partner has 25 years in the race field.

I've posted a photo of the shop that I'm in before but i'll post it again for fun. It's helped sell 99% of the clients that I have come in to do business. Its really great having the Wraps right on hand to show customers why we charge what we charge vs our competition. (we are not the cheapest on the block.)

11,000 sq ft air conditioned.

Forgot to add, this is an alteration of a livery from David Pipers 917.

The idea really sprung for the client whenever he saw the 918 spyder done just like this.

How did you end up getting the stripes from the painters tape to the computer, or did you lay out the knifeless tape off of that ? looks pretty bad ***.
