Red/white blue/white laser cutters

I'm looking at a 100w CO2 laser and thinking if I should get one of those Chinese ones on eBay.
Has anyone picked up one of these units?
Your opinion?
$6k v $30k is a considerable thought to have about these

If you only plan on cutting, not engraving, the Chinese ones are decent, you get large bed sizes and powerful tube's, which is the main requirements for laser cutting. Engraving requires better hardware and as a result the Chinese machines need to be run very slowly to compensate.

I have a red and black 24 X 39 130 watt unit It cuts acrylic real fast. I paid just over $4000 for it about 5 years ago. If you get one don't get the CW3000 chiller as it does not chill just circulates the water.

We had one, I did not have the market for it. A camera is a must, one that will read marks like a graphtec. The other reason I got rid of it was it only used proprietary software.

If you can afford it, get a model with a RF tube instead of glass. More precise and faster. I have a thunder laser 63in/130w with glass tube and like it. They just came out with their RF tubes series. I will probably change my machine for one if they come out with the 63in bed.
