Refacing Giant Billboard With Banner Strips Like Wallpaper?

I pick the best and most profitable option, if doing in-house means more work, (maybe with a less appropriate material) at less profit I outsource.

To be fair, you asked for suggestions. People offered them and you poo-pooed most of them, which is your prerogative. Just weird to ask for suggestions, shoot all of them down, not give a reason why or any information to offer alternative suggestions.

So it sounds like you just want suggestions on deciding whether to use banner material or ACM. If you've been doing this for 30 years, why do you need help deciding? Or am I missing something.

Still confused....

I apologize to everyone here for this thread. I forget sometimes what this forum is about.

I won't continue this thread.

Player, These responses are not only for the person that started the thread, they're also for the thousand of "lurkers" hoping to glean
information from people that have been in there shoes.

If I had to pick one, I would go with 3mm composite aluminum cover, I definitely wouldn't go with banner strips.. but like everybody else here, my 1st choose would be to outsource
a 20' x 40' banner for 1/10 the price.

We are the largest sign/graphic company in our area with 4 grand format printers and we still outsource
graphics all the time.

Just resell everything. Yes. Otherwise, you are doing it wrong.

Sometimes, 'reselling' is the best option. I have a brand new L360. Prints fast and high quality.

Guess what, sometimes I have another shop print wraps for me. They have a couple Latex 3000's. They can print the same quality at least 4 times as fast. Sometimes time is money. I can tie my printer up for 2 days printing several wraps or I can have them do it in 1 day, while I'm making money on other jobs.

No one is saying you should always outsource, but there are times it's the smart choice.
