refilling cartridges

I have a Roland cj-70 that uses pigmented inks.
It has become very expensive to replace the cartridges,
I'm interested in refilling them myself, has anyone here
done that? Does anyone have a source for buying quality
bulk ink?

Anyone use them?

I would say that if you gave them you credit card number, They would be very happy and you would be super sad. Do a google earth on the address they have. it comes to an empty lot in long island city, NY

Yeah, you're probably right, but I see they take money orders,
I might risk $30 to see what happens, or do one of those refillable
credit cards.

My cartridges don't have a computer chip, so it doesn't seem that
it would be too much of a hassle to refill them, my only worry
is if it's crappy ink, it might clog up my heads.

Agree with Rep, messing up a printer is too big a risk. By the way, if you're charging correct prices, the ink cost is infinestimally small. Too small to worry about.

I would run the proper ink, and charge a bit more.

It has nothing to do with being cheap, pigmented ink is costing me
over twice as much as what my competitors pay for their solvent inks.
On top of that I pay much more for my coated material, and have to
laminate for outside use.

I'm trying to keep my printer viable for as long as I can before reinvesting
into a new printer.

If anyone is having luck with with a quality off brand ink, either in cartridge's or in bulk, I sure would appreciate any info.

I havent tried their ink so I cant help you there.

But, I under the "other products" they carry I will inform everyone on how the " liquid horny goat weed" works!
