Reflective Lam?

Has anyone used a reflective lam over printed vinyl? I have a client that I had his logos printed and know he wants them reflective. I dont have a printer so I have to sub this out. Anyway. The graphics are about 28" x 13" and the place that printed doesnt have any reflective material in stock to re print.

I was thinking of getting some reflective lam and just covering them. So has anyone used this type of laminate before and if so what product did you use.

Thanks in advance

I had another sign guy that was from the next town over tell me that is how he is doing reflective anymore. Tried to call them but they close at 3 on Wednesdays. I would have had it printed on reflective originally or at least had it set up to be printed that way but the client just informed me today that he wants it that way.

I couldnt find it either. That is why I was asking for some input on it. I have found a metallic lam that says it appears to have a reflective quality to it but that was it. Guess I am going to have to find someone close by that can print it for me.

Thanks anyways.

I never heard of that and I have been doing this for many many years, you can get specialty laminate like holographic but never seen reflective lam.

Yeah the ink needs to be on top of the reflective surface to reflect back any color, AND a reflective vinyl has to be opaque in order to work properly...
