Reflexite Tape Chevron Striping

Anyone have a source for short rolls (or even better by the foot) of 6" Reflexite, or equivelent, for emergency equipment chevron markings?

Reflexite reflective vinyl itself. Just seemed "cheap" to me. I honestly never applied any of it to see how it performed, but I had gotten in some large-ish samples to compare against the 3M DG3 and a standard reflective as the Reflexite claims to have the same reflective property as the DG3. While the Reflexite had similar application properties of a "regular" reflective, the overall reflectiveness was far from what they claim, at least in my opinion. I have a board with some standard, Reflexite and DG3 on it to take to potential customers looking for items like these (municipalities, fire departments, etc), and almost every one chose the standard or DG3 over the Reflexite, regardless of the cost differences.

That's interesting. I have used the reflexite because it is what is speced by the clinet. I have a roll of yellow, but don'y want to invest in another full roll of the red, damn pricey stuff.

Not as pricey as the DG3. But... I found an outlet for cut rolls of DG3 for less the price of the Reflexite. A 6" x 50yd roll of red runs about $350.00. PM me for the website details.

I'm looking for 10yds or less, I've found a couple, but they're not reflexite. I have the yellow so I think I need to have the same brand for the red.

Orafol (Oracal) bought Reflexite out some while back. Reflexite also comes in a bunch of different grades and series. Fellers carries it now too - by the yard even. Their V98 stuff is the most conformable diamond grade I've come across - you can even apply the stuff to diamond plate with no problem.

Ok.. with the winds howling as they are here, I doubt I could fasten the board anywhere and have it stay, at least outside. So, a long hallway darkened as far as I could is going to have to do. Camera is an older digital SLR on automatic settings, using the camera flash. Nothing else was added or changed.
First photo - test board. Nothing special, just strips of the stuff on a black piece of coro. Four types present - Reflexite, 3M DG3, 3M "regular" and FDC "regular":

Second photo is from about 6' away. Not really focused, but you get the idea:

Third photo from about 10' away.

Fourth photo I purposely focused on the Reflexite section
