Removing media clamps on a VG2-540?

I've looked through post and searched every combo I know and still nothing pops up on the proper way to get the clamps out. I need to replace the cutter strip and would like to get them out of the way. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Well, I feel stupid. Never looked to that side. For some reason I thought they had to come out going right. Thank you!!
