I have a PC that I used personally that I'd like to repurpose and there are some things on there I'd like to keep on there, but I'd like to remove access from, for other users. I want to create another user account that removes access to some programs, so I don't have someone wasting time when I'm not over their shoulder, but I still want to access the programs when I'm using the computer.
I have created another user (in XP), and made it just a user, not an admin. So how do I remove programs from the program list and only leave that one account with a small number of options?
As an example, if I'm logged in, I might have 75 menu options. When I log in under the "new user" account, I'd like to have it show 12 menu items only (the programs I want them to have access to).
Is that possible in XP? If so, how?
Thanks!
