Does anyone know of any chemicals or technique for removing old vinyl from acrylic sign faces in a quick manners?

Why do people want to spend more money in labor trying to save old substrates than the new substrate costs??

Translucent vinyl should come off easily and leave very little adhesive behind, unless it's so old that it's brittle and destroyed by the sun. In that case you really need a new face anyway.
