Replace mist sponge

Hi All,
The "replace sponge" message is coming on my SP300.
I have the new sponge and have watched the Digiprint video on replacement.
With the printer turned off, How do I move the print head out of the way?
Or, do I go to the "clean" mode while leaving the printer turned on?
Thanks

Not sure about roland but this is how I did it on seiko. When machine is on lift front cover and let it back down, when the head moves to reset lift the cover again to stop it. Service area needed. At that point I could have machine on or off and still move head along track safely.

When in the cleaning mode, while printer is turned on, head will move out of the way. This will work but the video I watched said to turn printer off.
