Replacing Envision 375 boards

We seem to have a recurring system 17 error and before I order replacement boards can anyone advise how I remove these? I've had the front and back plates off to blow out dust etc and removed the sides to check connections and replace a faulty fan.

Does the base come away from the rest of the machine with the boards? I'd like to gain full access so I can make sure all the connections are secure and it is clean before commiting to new boards etc.

Thanks

Will Gerber Odyssey boards fit the 375? I remember reading somewhere that they did?

Thanks

I've had my Envision 375 for 15 years and have never had to replace a board ... so no, I have no advice.

Thanks Fred, I just have a recurring problem. I've had it serviced and a board replaced, after 3 weeks of hard work it failed again, I asked the engineer to look at it again and he wouldn't (time issue I guess) he just refunded be the cost of the board which is fair enough but I now have a 375 which works intermittently. I can get a complete set of boards from plotter doctor and a new motor but a) I need to find the time to take it apart correctly and b) just wanted to check if there were any issues I needed to be aware of with a full board change before committing the cash and time or c) would i be better off stripping for spares and buying a new one, which again is not a straightforward decision given the price and my experience with this one.

Thanks
