resampling bitmap question???

If a customer sends a bitmap that might be a resolution that looks OK on something small, and I want to enlarge it and not have it fall apart with large pixels, how can I do that?

Open the bitmap in Flexi. Select the bitmap and go to the Bitmap menu > Resample. A good rule of thumb that I was taught is you only increase it by three times. For instanced if it says that it is a 500x500 pixels change it to 1,500x1,500. The reason for this is after adding three times the resolution you are just going to increase the file size more than you will increase the image quality.

When you click on resample you will see it there. Just change the numbers it shows.

Right on Chris! I've been wondering how to do this for a long time and finally decided to ask.
Do you ever find times when you want do do this twice if an image requires substantial enlarging?
