i always remember one of his drawings from the 70's
i man in an alley , in a trench coat, selling stolen merchandise in the alleyway. he is holding a severed hand, with a watch on the wrist

the caption is "how much for JUST the watch?"

he will be missed

I don't think I'm familiar with his work. But I went and looked him up and his sense of humor seems right up my alley. I'm sorry he passed.

I do try and take a chance to meet some of my favorite illustrators when I get a chance.

You might be a little young for him, he was popular in the 60s.
