Roand Verscamm sheet cutting

Hello, I'm searching for adjustment of feed length before my versacamm cuts the print using the sheet cut option?

The problem is after the print is done and the sheet is cut, I laminate the print, but the print (on Vinyl) curls on the end after lamination. When the print is reinstalled in the Verrsacamm to be cut and the machine trys to read the crop marks, but when the machine reads the back crop marks the vinyl gets caught because the end of the print is curled up.

To fix i have to tape a 3 to 4 inch of vinyl on the print so the end of curled print doesnt get caught on machine.

I thought if I increase the feed length before the cut is made on the machine, the print would have less chance of getting caught on back of machine when reading crop marks.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

We don't have a problem with our print curling, but before sheet cutting, we use the down arrow to feed the material a few more inches past the back crop marks and then hit "base point". Then, we hit the sheet cut button. That way, there is always extra material after the crop marks.

Forgot to say that this works on a XC540 - don't know if the Versacamm has this feature.

Yeah I noticed that the default sheet cut does not leave enough length when reloading and reading the registration marks. (vp540)

I must be the oddball in the bunch, figured this one out before ever attempting my first print-lam-cut job. Well I guess that's what happens if you actually read your User Manuals before operating the machine.

Never experienced curling prints after lamination either, what's that all about? Uncured ink possibly?

HI! Here it is how it works in VersaWorks: Printer Controls - you find a place you have to mark Cut Sheet after Output - Use Custom Settings - Page Space. There you can choose different lengths.

i always just feed out a couple more inches before i sheet cut.

and i had a laminated print curl on me yesterday, first time. i think i didnt "start" it in the laminator just right and it got all weird for the first inch or so.
