TR2 is Roland ink, unfortunately they lock you out of the service menu. If you no longer have warranty and are in the US, there was another thread that explained you can contact Roland and advise them they are violating your right to service or something along those lines and they should be able to give you something to give you access without a technician.
Bn20 does not have TR ink...From what I understand if you're running TR2 inks, then you're locked out.

I just sold my SP300-V which I had converted to run on windows 10Are you looking at buying a BN-20, is that why you've asked this question? If you want a Roland that doesn't lock you out of the service menu I think the VS-i models and older would be your only options, so used, not new.
