Question Roland cap tops

Does Roland make their own cap tops?

It seems like they are almost $50.00 each now.
I have been using original Roland cap tops for years but I also have tried the aftermarket cap tops and had some that worked fine and others that did not last very long.

I would like to ask others what they are using and why and also where do you purchase them from.

Found a lot on the Internet that didn't have very good reviews.

So..., why are they called Cap Tops when they go on the bottom?

...just another of the mysteries of the universe, I guess...

Ours are OEM. We've tried many after market ones and they simply don't last as long or don't work at all in a lot of cases. Not sure why. The DX5 after market caps work great.
