I've been struggling with print/laminate/cut on my converted to solvent CJ-500 running Flexi 8.1. The printer is NOT in SC-500 mode (flipped switch). I have tried to print crop marks by enabling them on the printer according to the manual but when I send the job out thru production manager no crop marks print. The manual says that the reader will not read crop marks from an outside computer program but I went ahead and tried the crop marks in Flexi too. They do print through Flexi but then the printer errors out with "cropmark sensor lost cropmark" when trying to read.
