Anyone using the Roland Color Match System yet??? I'm getting it next week and can't wait, it should be so much easier than before, IF it is as advertised, just wondering if you guys have given it a go yet?

I don't know how much it is seperately... but it comes free with the new XJ series, which I am getting next week, so I have done my homework on it but haven't used it but they talk about it being PHENOMENAL with quick color match... I hope their preaching is backed up!

it's great! I have a chart on my wall for each media I print on. It makes spot color matching a breeze.

I'm using the new XC-540. The Roland Color System is actually a part of VersaWorks 2.0 and above. So anyone with a newer Roland running VersaWorks has access to it.
All you do is define a spot color in your design software then VersaWorks recognizes the color number and converts it to the specific CMYK-LC-LM value so you get the same color print after print. Just print a chart for each commonly used media because colors vary slightly from media to media and from profile to profile.
