Roland ColrCamm PC60... Thoughts?

I know ribbon style thermal printers are outdated... however if I am looking to make (personal use) small scale RC car wraps and model stickers, would this machine provide good quality prints? I have found some good deals, but wonder if anyone has thoughts on ribbon availability, drivers for modern computers operating systems and so on. They appear to sell for around $1000 used, just looking for thoughts. Thanks

I know there are die hard users back
in the day, but that machine was junk...

I'd save and get an Edge
