Roland CX-24

I have a Roland CX-24 which is currently hooked up to my pc, but now I would like to be able to cut from my laptop as well rather then designing on one and cutting from the other, can this be done? I know I will need a new cable, anything to look out for? Also I'm guessing I will need to download a new driver from Roland as well.

if VISTA.... youre on you own!!!
if XP ON BOTH same driver will work.....
laptop dont have LPT-1 PORT? you will need an adaptor from LPT-1 to USB.
