Need Help roland edge detect not working

Hi,

Any one have this problem, Sometimes I can reset the hold down tabs and it corrects itself, but cannot seem to get my versacamm to detect the material width.

What model VersaCAMM printer is this? Are any errors popping up on the control panel? Or does it come back with 0.0?

Sounds like the classic Roland SP300/540 cut tool carriage cable malfunction. If you are running one of those models and it's coming up with 0.0" or pinch roller errors, then you just need to change that cable. Here is a link to the part on our site. SP-300 and SP540
