Roland gs24. Not indicating “READY” on either computer

Hello. We’ve been using the desktop and laptop for operating the GS-24 via Corel2018 for years. Today, it refuses to respond. After the select roll, it does not indicate “READY “. on the panel ( I swear it always has). Upon sending a file , it awakes, but nothing. Nothing in queue. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Roland. Don’t know where to go from here.
Ideas? please and thankyou

seriously how are you connected? Specs say only usb?
if so how did you switch? Usb switching device?
physically moving cable?

There is a problem with the last Windows update, but this shouldn't interfere with the panel. Try media setup with USB unplugged.
