Roland gx 24 says sheet unloaded

I put my vinyl in the Roland gx 24 and press enter and the cutter head moves over and scans the size and then it says the size 13.8".
Then it will say sheet unloaded.
Then I cannot continue the job.
Any ideas on this? I have never had this happen before.

Is the 13.8" piece of vinyl all the way over to the left and covering the little windows front and back? Try cleaning those little windows.
Did you select "Piece" then hit enter.
Regardless if it's a piece or roll I always just select "Edge" and enter......I'm too impatient to wait for it to measure the sheet.
