Roland GX -24 & Windows 7 - won't install (?)

Trying to install a GX-24 on a new computer running Windows 7. Install Wizard never appears after plugging unit into USB port. Any advice??

1. USB or Serial connection ?

2. Do you have Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode ?

3. What program do you usually cut from if any ?

USB. Cutting from Flexi 8.6v2. I'll have to check on the "Virtual PC" (where would I find that...never heard of it
