Hi,
I'm using a lec 300 and after I left it unused for a while now is not printing yellow at all!
I done:
- power cleaning
- left the printing head in cleaning liquid for one night
- flush the line from the cartridge to the head
- change the dumper
- change the head

and the yellow is still not printing!

What I am missing?
Thank you.

Ink in the system? Yes

Have you tried a new ink cartridge? Yes

(starting with the most obvious)

How long did it actually sit and was the main power turned on? 1 month, power on

Can you get anything with a nozzle check? Nothing

I just changed the damper and now I no longer have ink in it! The ink is not
coming. Air in the system?

When you changed the damper you could draw ink easily through the line?

Do you think you might have cracked the manifold?

Is the cap clean and making a seal?

'When you changed the damper you could draw ink easily through the line?'
- yes, but not too easy

Do you think you might have cracked the manifold?
- i checked them and they are fine

Is the cap clean and making a seal?
- yes, it is clean

Powerful cleanings flush ink through the lines. If the head isnt firing yellow, it could be something as simple as cap top failure or a bad seal on the cap top to the head. Pour some solution into the cap top and see how long it takes to drain. You can change ink lines, dampers and run powerful cleanings all day with no change most likely because that is not where the problem is. Check the cap top first.

Thank you.
Yes, the problem was with the captop. I clean it and then replace the line from pump to cap and now it's working.

check the drain flow. take off the drain bottle, hold it an inch or 2 away from where it mounts, and run a medium clean. You should see ink spurting under pressure from the drain line. If you only get dribbles and bubbles something isn't sealing properly, Caps usually.

hi,
i've done everything:
- change the dampers (new tubbing)
- change printhead capping top
- change the printhead adapter
- change the head cables

the only things which are the old ones are the print heads dx4! How can i test them if they are working?
the cleaning is working fine (you can see all colours)
but
is not printing at all!!!

Please help!

Thank you!
