Roland LEF2-200 second hand

Hello, I need a flatbed UV printer (to use in printing on layflat album covers) and I stumbled upon a Roland LEF2-200 at a good price 5500 eur. The main problem is that the printer was not used for over a year. They said that the printer was powered on and that it made the dailly cycles but I doubt that would be in a good condition hence it is one year hence it was used. So, what's your opinion in purchasing as it is and take into consideration exchangeing printheads and ink lines (an estimate cost for this?). Is it worth the hassle or I shuld pay more for one in good working condition? The printer coems with BOFA filter also. Anything else to check except condition of printing and heads?

Not being used for a year would be dried ink in all the lines and printhead clogged with dry ink also, not worth the work and money to restore. Find a used one still working or new one with warrenty from dealer.

So even if plugged in the whole time it is almost certain that the ink is dried inside lines. Ok, thanks!

smoke jaguar says the mimaki UV’s flush out fairly well but if you have never refurb’ed a printer before
you could easily get in over your head. In the long run you are probably better off buying one that you can
See a test print come out of the machine

if you were in Hawaii you could have mine

It’s been unplugged and I’m dreading trying to rehab it. Will likely try to find a free home for it

Hello again, today I received some samples and nozzle check. It looks like a mess but at least nozzles are firing. In your opinion it looks like a mess because are not alligned or heads are all compromised? Is it any chance to bring this back to life? I am prepared to invest some in it concerning the low purchasing price. Your help and opinion would be highlly appreciated. ALso any tips in checking the printer also, on what to check hence I never had something to do with UV. Thanks!
