roland pnc-1000 knife force question

I have been out of the business for the last five years while being a stay at home mom. I just purchased a Roland PNC 1000 which I haven't worked with for about 10 years. I can't remember how to adjust the knife force and unfortunately it didn't come with any manual. It is cutting too deep. Please help.

there should be a little slider off to the side where the com port plugs in...

PNC1000A has a slider on the side that says PEN FORCE

hey i'm new to 101 and i dont know if this is were i ask ?s but i cant get my 1000 to cut vinyl at all. pen force wide open. but wan cut though vinyl

Thanks!!, the blade looked good, it is scoring but just not enough to cut through vinyl. have some on the way. i can drag blade acrossed srap with my hand and cuts good. I was thinking that the solenoid wasnt giving enough pressure. i will find out tomorrow. thanks Jim
