roland print area

i've had my printer for quite a while, never tried this.

lets say im printing on 24" wide media, is there a setting i can use so that the
print head only travels the 24" area instead of the whole empty area?

my roland is a 54" printer.

Turn off "Full Width Scan" in the menu settings

it will change speed setting but its not hard to reset the speed.

??? Versa works rip? On mine when I "get media width" that does it. I print on 24" stuff all the time... The print head only goes as far as the farthest roller. That might be it, made sure all the rollers are on the media....
