Question Roland sc-500 good deal?

im looking at buying our first printer and came across a Roland sc-500 that has been converted to eco solvent but needs a print head replaced. I can get it for between 1-2000 (asking 2k or make an offer) is this a good deal or should I look for something else. I figured a 54” cutter is worth at least $1500 even if I never use the print function. Thought please?

Steer clear of it..DX2 heads are way over priced and hard to get of.. Find yourself an sp-540v, vp-540 or equivalent for a first printer.
Easier to maintain less hassle. Better service back up

Thanks Terry I appreciate the information and feed back, I assumed there was a reason it was so cheap.
