Roland SG300 keeps saying "end of sheet" and stops printing.

I've tried making the sheet length hundreds of feet long, drape the media off the roll so there's no tension, but it keeps wasting time and prints. Any solutions come to mind?

Yes, the sensor is right below the hole in that rear shiny cover. It either has a yellow or white connector on it. When you go to put the shiny metal piece back, you have to be very careful putting it back in and make sure it is pushed all the way in. You should take a look at the front of that printer from the front side of that shiny metal plate. There’s little tabs that have to go in a particular spot.
