Question Roland SolJet II possible to use EcoSol Max2?

Hey guys

I recently own a Roland SC 545EX printer.
I know, pretty old machine, but i hope somebody can help me anyway.

Regarding Roland, they don't support/advise against the upgrade from ESL3 to ESL4 inks.
But, as there is an official advice to change the white ink, if applicable, it doesn't seems to be a serious problem to upgrade!?

I know, it would be better to stay at the ESL3 inks. But, as they're getting more and more expensive and harder to get, it comes more into consideration for me.

Any of you has / had a Soljet2 (or other compatible printer?) running with Max 2 inks?
Did you notice any serious downsides? And did you completely replace the carthridges or just changed during operation?

Thanks in advance for every kind of help!

I would not go that route, you would have to change out the ink system and I dont think its worth the money and you can find Eco Sol Max ESL-3 inks out there each
