Roland Soljet XC540 self cleaning too much - microchips in ink cartridge

So the new roland firmware update makes the Soljet xc540 clean a lot, making it slow, if you use 3rd party ink, without the right microchip. It will clean every few minutes until the ink is expelled. Interested if anyone has had this problem.

Yes that is how Roland likes to punish you for the ink choice you make for the printer you own. There must be some kind of law against that type of sabotage
