we have a Roland sp300 with a bad server board. roland is not 100% its the server board so don't wan a sell me one until they know 100%. would anyone have one the would part with for cheap or to try?

You mean Servo Board. The Servo board runs the motors. In general motor errors are usually caused by physical issues and/or the encoder system is malfunctioning. What error are you getting?

the cable to the server board got caught and shorted out a diode, we went the cheap rout and replaced the cable but that didn't fix it. so I'm sure its the board.
