Roland sp300i computer

Just purchased a new roland sp300i and am trying to upgrade my computer as well. Does anyone have any opinions on a computer system and requirements for best production?

We use a new Mac running Parallels/VersaWorks. Works well most of the time. You will have issues, as far as speed, using both Parallels on the PC side and Photoshop on the Mac side. I just try not to.
