Roland SP300v Contour Cut Problems

Hi Guys.

Lately we've been having some problems with our Roland SP 300 V. In FlexiSignPro I put a contour cut on all our files then send them over to Roland Versaworks as an EPS. When the job starts going it cuts the contour cut but it's consistantly off and cuts into one side of the outline and cuts outside of it (Leaving a strip of white where nothing was printed). I went back to the flexi file and it shows the contour cut perfectly lined up with our border. I even opened the EPS in photoshop to see if something was off or if it was displaying incorrectly but all seems well.

Anyone have this problem or know a solution? I typed this rather quickly so if anyone needs me to clarify feel free to ask.

blade offset?

If By offset you're referring to the setting in Versaworks, I have checked it already. You have to enable "Advanced Settings" in order to set an offset and I have that un-checked.

Are you able to bypass Versaworks and output directly from Flexi?

I was going to try to set that up next. Using Versaworks is a pain anyway, I would rather output jobs straight from Flexi.

!. Have you done a Print/Cut Adjustment?
2. Do the Crop Adjust as this is linked with the print/cut.
3. Check the cable tension - there is a specific tension, but you can tell if it's way too loose...over tightening will not help either.
4. Do an Environmental Match to help hold the info.
5. Check the Offset Setting on the Printer (.025 for a 45 degree blade).

It seems you have a calibration issue.
I wish I could explain it. Try Techman.
