Just look at the other Roland threads, it's been explained there 100 times, even recently. You can find the answer quicker than Jim can copy-paste it to you.

The primary purpose of this board is to share knowledge and information, whether it be hard earned through experience, or knowing what existing information is available that will help fix the problem. Many users on here are not technically oriented and come here for solutions. They often don't know what search term to use to find answers, so they just ask... As a professional technician, I try to ascertain their ability, and respond by a direct reply, or by
"copy-pasting" a section from an official factory service manual which often is a better approach than trying to explain it in a reply, or by suggesting they call me. And I do get calls... My answer always depends upon the complexity of the problem.
And if I don't have an answer, I don't respond. But I try to remember the answer someone else posts so I do know in the future. And I do try to post the solution to issues on here when the problem is solved through phone support. One of my pet peeves here is when valid solutions are suggested for a problem and the original poster never responds to verify if the suggested solution worked or not.
The power of knowledge isn't knowing everything, but knowing how and where to find the knowledge you need, when you need it.
