Good evening everyone,
I have a Roland SP540v printer
From one time it started printing diagonally and the head went too far to the left of the roller.
Does anyone know what is problem.
Thank you.

I did as you said, but then it printed diagonally on the other side.
After that, I removed the encoder sensor and ran a microfiber cloth through it. I used acetone for the tape and isopropyl for the sensor. I am very grateful to you for directing me to the problem and helping me to solve it.

This was my first post on this forum and you helped me to solve the problem in a very short time. I am very grateful and wish you the best of luck in your future work.

You are very welcome. And you made the right choice on which chemical to use on which part. Just insure when you re-installed the encoder sensor, the encoder strip is centered in the slot and not touching either side of the opening of the sensor.
