Roland VP540 Periodic Cleaning

Has anyone noticed a problem with the periodic cleaning on VP540 running firmware version 1.6 not working?

I have 2 new (2 weeks old ) machines that for some strange reason the periodic cleaning just won't work no matter what time you set, both these machines are new and both have the same firmware and same problem, I am thinking I should just upgrade the firmware and see if this fixes the problem.

Any ideas?

If a firmware upgrade is available..then that's the thing to do.

What does the dealer say about this problem? I would make sure I let them know, so if a problem apears down the road you have something to fall back on!
