Roland VS-540 test print issue

I did a test print and noticed a few of the black nozzles were missing, nothing major so i did a manual cleaning and a "normal clean", it fixed a few but there were still some missing nozzles, so i tried a "medium cleaning" and ended up loosing most of the black and cyan nozzles. I've attached 2 photos of before and after the medium clean.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? the capping station & wiper is only 3 months old if that helps, the printer is only 2 years old.

Cheers!

Solventinkjet

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
Since the cap top is new and the channels on the edge of the print head are not being affected, I would start looking at the dampers. Check the ink line above the dampers for air bubbles. Even a tiny air bubble is a sign that the o-ring and/or damper is failing.

Also, check to make sure your ink cartridges are not empty. If the cartridges fail to flag the machine as empty it can cause this same issue.

I'm not seeing any air bubbles in the lines, but that might be my eyes. Also, some of the ink carts were very low before this happened. I've switched them over for new ones and did a normal clean to try to pull the ink through the lines but no luck.
