Need Help Roland VS-540i cutting issue

The cutting has been staggered as you can see from photo. holder is clean and the blade new. Does this with other files as well. Wondering what the other solutions there might be. Staggers are not consistent in distance.

I don't hate paint, I just overlay it.
do you have dashed line checked in under stroke properties in illustrator? ( click on the stroke) do they look like solid lines?

have you tried another (new) file?

The above suggestions a good to go with. I would add that maybe your cut protection strip has a gash in it which is causing the blade to bounce when cutting. It may not be the issue but it is a possibility. I have never seen it that bad.
