Roland vs-640 Print issue

Hi, new to the site. I have a VS-640 that I have replaced all the ink lines, dampers and the cap top. Have primed the ink, and emptied the waste ink container. When I go to perform a print test, nothing prints(no colour). I have replaced the print carriage board, checked fuses. This has made no difference to the print result. Any help would greatly appreciated.

Which fuses did you check? Has the printer been sitting without printing for more than a few weeks? When you run a manual clean is ink coming out into the waste bottle? Why did you replace the print carriage board? Have you ever had it printing, or is it one you have just bought?
If you can give some more information then it will point to likely reasons

Sorry for the late reply. Yes the ink does come through the head in to the ink waste bottle. Replaced the carriage board due to ink been spilt over sockets where the print head ribbons plugin. Also checked the back of the board and it looked like it had been hot across a couple of circuits. The printer does not log any faults at all. The print head originally lost black. After inspect, found the head damaged. Replaced the head, still no joy. I bought it second hand. The fuses I checked are on the main board. Hope this gives some possible ideas.

You really need to get a technician out as there are so many reasons why it may not be printing. Was the head you replaced new, or a cheap'refurbished' one, and where did you get it?
