Roland VS540 and ink level reading

Hey guys,

My VS540 has not been reading my ink levels for about the last months. When i check my levels through versaworks it shows multiple cartridges as being empty ( they are brand new). Anyone have any ideas or fix on this ?

you might need to update the firmware on your printer.

For what it's worth, my levels never show correctly on our SC545EX, either on the printer itself or in Versaworks. Most of the time it can show 50% on a particular cart, and run out the next print. OR it will stop and tell me one is empty, when in actuality it is half full. I have to pull it out and shake it before putting it back in (that's what she said).
