Have you had a head strike? it is unusual for the test print to be skewed like that if it is just down to the captops or cleaning. As RCT says though, those are the first things to try

It is a VSi, try a light choke clean.
Menu, sub menu, ink control, light choke clean.
more importantly, when was the captop last replaced?
thanks for the quick replay... the last time I changed my cap top was like 10 months ago.. on my way to the shop now to try the choke clean.. and I just ordered the captop...thanks Ill keep you updated

I just ordered the captop and some normal maintenance parts ... hopefully is not the print head... thanks for the help and by the way what you mean by "head strike"?

Basically cleans out the printhead and dampers a bit more than a powerful clean. It is a good way to see issues.
If you put in a new captop and just can't get a good nozzle test, you may need a printhead.
Look very well at the bottom of the printhead with a mirror and flashlight and make sure it is completely smooth, no depressions.

Just installed the new cap.. Did a few cleanings, but still missing that entire segment..
