Roland XC-540 cutting weird....

Lately, on any cutting I do smaller than 1" tall, I have been getting weird rounded corners, O's with broken cut paths, and some misaligned cut paths that make weeding small logos a pain in the rear...

anyone have any input???

We have a Summa Pro T1300 that does the same once in a while, skips the first 2mm of every cutpath... We just clean the knife properly and use acid free oil in the pipe the knife moves up and down in.

If this is does not comply with your machine, maybe its a new knife???

its a brand new knife...

But now its fixed...


blade offset setting.....

.400 for the 60 deg as opposed to .250 with the 45 deg

We had a simliar problem, and had to replace the blade holder.

I think we never noticed it before due to the fact that we hardly ever cut anything that small...
