We seem to have a recurring problem a few months ago we replaced the encoder strip on our printer because the scan side of our print cut was off and could not be rectified by the usual fixes. A week ago it started again. We replaced the strip last night again thinking something happened to it. It worked perfect. Came in this morning turned the machine on and it is right back to the way it was before the we changed the strip. Any ideas???

have you looked into the Cut Carriage Cable and mylar guides?

Possible the encoder sensor is scratching the scale?

Any big temperature shifts in your environment?

No temperature shifts but I did do an environmental match. I will check out the other 2 things and let you know if that works.
thanks
