roll lenghts are they accurate?

Im printing a trailer wrap and Im cutting it tight, do they actually give you
10 yards or do they give you some extra material. someone out here must of measured one haha!!

Ive got a 10 yard roll going, but by calculations Im missing 22" damm

You shouldn't have to... but we always assume all rolls to be short 10%. Same goes for inks, substrates, etc. CYA.

i very much doubt they are accurate! always count on less than what you THINK you have........better to be safe. if you calculate you need 10 yards, get 11-12 yards just to be safe.

we had a few oracal rolls that were 5+ ft longer according to the L25500

and to thing that i blindly accept the fact that they are accurate. i can only imagine how much loss we have incurred not knowing, or figuring out that they might not be.

with digital, you cant touch it, so for us there is no way to tell.
