Of those of you who have one of these laminators (I'm looking at RSC – 820CLS), do they have to sit in the stand or can you place them on the end of a table? Running out of room in my shop :/

As long as the table is rigid and you can shim so the rollers are level it should be fine.

that's what we do, have a table level with the roller, and it rolls onto the table.
