Being a grandpa is more fun than working
Well, I've just about completed my collection of S. Truett Cathy's books. He's the founder of Chik-fil-A.
Four of my books are autographed, and I'd be interested to find an autographed copy of "Wealth, Is it Worth It?". There's also another book that he co-authored with Ken Blanchard. Truett will be 92 years old next month, and I believe he might not be signing any more books.
His story is obviously not one of overnight success, and I think the things that impress me the most are his unwavering stance on firm principles, and his old-fashioned work ethic.
I've read a lot of tripe from so called business gurus over the years, and I've also trashed a lot of nonsense that once occupied my bookshelves.
Mr. Cathy's books are sure to stay. Is anybody else a fan?
JB
