S80600 sheet mode?

Is there a way on the S80600 to load a sheet and have the machine measure the printable length? I can measure it by hand and input it in the media setting in Onyx, but I can never tell exactly where the print will start, and how much I need at the other end.

I'm used to running Roland's with media sensors and a simple start point button.

It should ask you how much is on the roll every time you load it.
Measure it yourself if you aren't starting with a fresh roll.

I wrote a macro of the same thing for Excel that we use to do our year-end roll-over inventory.

yeah, it asks, but I wasn't sure if when loading a small sheet if it could measure the printable length. We do quite a few sheets that are 54" x 30", and often smaller chunks as well. Our Roland's have a sheet mode that gets the length, so I figured this could too
